Sam Beatson

Sam Beatson, PhD 单(森)毕生博士, currently serves as a Lecturer in Finance Risk and Banking at The University of Nottingham since October 2010. With a diverse background in economics and research, Sam has held various roles including Economist at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and Evaluation Researcher at HM Courts & Tribunals Service. Previous experience includes consulting work at Hammond Clarke Group and positions in the UK Civil Service and NHS England. Sam holds a PhD from the University of Nottingham focused on Foreign Investors in the Chinese Stock Market and has completed an EMBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology. Educational qualifications also include a Master's degree in Chinese language, business and international relations from The University of Sheffield, and various other degrees. Specializations encompass business and finance in East Asian economies, with extensive skills in econometric modeling, data analysis, and project management.
