Vicky Bailey

Vicky Bailey joined Council in January 2019. She is Chair of Audit and Risk Committee and a member of Remuneration Committee.

Vicky is a non-executive director at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, and is the Chair of the Quality Committee and the Senior Independent Director to the Trust. Her most recent executive leadership roles in Nottingham was the Accountable Officer for both NHS Nottingham West and Rushcliffe Clinical Commissioning Groups. She has served on national bodies advising Ministers, and has a clinical background as a nurse and midwife. She is a fellow of the of the Queen’s Nursing Institute. She also works as an associate for the Local Government Association supporting their work on health and care partnerships with a particular focus on her interests of health inequalities and governance.
