Hoody Kargbo

Hoody Kargbo is a dedicated professional with significant experience in research, education, and community service. Currently serving as a Research Associate and Lab Technician at the University of Oklahoma since July 2022, Hoody has also co-founded Inspiration for Her, a nonprofit organization aimed at empowering girls in Sierra Leone. Previous roles include Educational Consultant at Southwestern Advantage, where focus was placed on improving educational access for families, and Laboratory Assistant at the University of Oklahoma Geology and Petroleum Engineering Lab. Additionally, Hoody has held leadership positions in the African Students Association and served in various technical support roles at the University of Oklahoma. Hoody holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma and multiple high school diplomas from institutions in Maastricht and Sierra Leone.
