Benjamin Schorzman serves as the Associate Director and Senior Writer for Executive Communications at the University of Oregon since August 2024. Prior to this role, Benjamin worked at the City of Eugene from April 2016 to August 2024, managing editorial content and community engagement efforts for the Library, Recreation and Cultural Services department and serving as the LRCS public information officer. Previous experience includes positions as Sports Reporter and Copy Editor at The Register-Guard, Sports Editor at The News-Register, and various roles in sports journalism, including a Sports Stringer for the Associated Press. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oregon, earned in December 2010.
