Lotta Pennala

Lotta Pennala currently serves as the Special Adviser of Education Policy at Suomen Ekonomit, focusing on education advocacy for Business Education in Finland since December 2023. Additionally, Pennala holds a position on the University Board of Directors at the University of Oulu and previously acted as President of the National Union of University Students in Finland, leading the organization through the 2023 parliamentary election. Pennala's prior experience includes serving as Chair of the Executive Board at the Student Union of the University of Oulu and various roles at Finanssi ry, including Chair of the Board and Coordinator of Academic Affairs. Previous roles also include a position as a Communication Trainee at Metsähallitus, a Substitute Teacher in Mikkeli, and a Salesperson at Osuuskauppa Suur-Savo. Pennala earned a Bachelor of Business with a focus on Marketing from the University of Oulu.
