Charalambos Antoniades

Charalambos Antoniades holds the position of BHF Chair of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Oxford since September 2017, where also serves as Director of the Acute Vascular Imaging Centre and Deputy Head of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. Additionally, Charalambos is the Chair of the British Atherosclerosis Society, Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Caristo Diagnostics, and a Consultant Cardiologist at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. Earlier experience includes Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Oxford and a tenure as a Cardiologist at the Hippokration Hospital in Greece. Charalambos completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Cardiology and a Doctor of Medicine from Athens University Medical School.
