Elizabeth Dellar is a dedicated researcher specializing in neurodegenerative disease biomarkers, currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford since June 2021. Previous experience includes roles as a Graduate Access Mentor at the University of Oxford and an Associate Lecturer in the Widening Participation Team at Oxford Brookes University, where engagement with under-represented students was a priority. Elizabeth has also contributed to policy development as a Policy Intern at the Campaign for Science and Engineering, focusing on diversity and inclusion in STEMM. Practical research experience includes a biology placement at Eli Lilly and Company and a summer project on Nrf2 pathway modulators for Motor Neurone Disease at the Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience. Elizabeth holds a DPhil in Interdisciplinary Bioscience from the University of Oxford and an MBiolSci in Molecular Biology from the University of Sheffield, complemented by a strong academic background in science through A-level studies.
