Hira Virdee

Hira Virdee is an accomplished founder and CEO of Lumi Space since October 2018, also serving as a Visiting Fellow at the University of Oxford since April 2021. Hira holds a position on the Investment Advisory Board of Spaced Ventures and founded MopedSpotted, a project aimed at tracking stolen mopeds in collaboration with the Metropolitan Police. Prior experience includes roles as an EF11 Cohort Member at Entrepreneur First, Data Science and Management Consultant at Cervello, Business Intelligence Consultant at Praesto Consulting, and a PhD Researcher at University College London, where a thesis focused on space debris modeling was completed. Additional expertise includes developing neural networks at XENESIS LIMITED and creating educational multimedia software at MICROBOOKS LIMITED. Hira obtained a MSc in Physics and a Ph.D. from UCL, coupled with a strong background in data analytics and consulting.
