Joseph Balfe

Joseph Balfe is a dedicated academic and researcher with a strong background in neuroscience and psychiatry. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychiatry at the University of Oxford, Joseph investigates non-invasive brain stimulation methods for depression treatment. Joseph’s experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Otago, focusing on neuromodulation for asthma, and a Clinical Trials Associate position at Pacific Edge Ltd, where support was provided for multi-centric clinical trials in bladder cancer detection. Additional roles include authorship of educational materials on human body systems and participation in clinical research on traumatic brain injuries.
