Nicole Miranda

Nicole Miranda serves as a Scientific Advisor to the Environmental Audit Committee at the UK Parliament, focusing on the 'Heat Resilience and Sustainable Cooling' enquiry since July 2023. In addition, Miranda is a Senior Researcher and Programme Manager for the Oxford Martin School's Future of Cooling Programme at the University of Oxford, a position held since September 2019. As a College Lecturer and Organising Tutor in Engineering at Pembroke College Oxford, responsibilities include overseeing the academic experience of Engineering students and tutoring in Mathematics and Energy Systems. Previous experience includes various roles at Amey, leading strategic consulting projects, and teaching positions at the University of Oxford and Universidad de Concepción. Miranda's educational background includes a DPhil in Engineering Sciences from the University of Oxford and master’s and engineer’s degrees in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Concepción.
