Trevor Payne MSc FIHEEM FIWFM is an accomplished leader with 39 years of experience in public service, currently serving as the Director of Estates at the University of Birmingham since September 2015. Renowned for expertise in estates management, facilities management, net zero carbon strategy, sustainability, and SmartCampus deployment, Trevor also holds positions as a Real Estate Advisor at Trinity College Dublin and as a judge for the Construction News Awards and IWFM Impact Awards in 2023. Previous roles include Director of Birmingham Research Park LTD and Trustee of Birmingham Pension & Assurance Scheme. Trevor has contributed to the Sustainability Leadership Programme for the Health Care Sector at Cambridge University and was the public sector leader for sustainability at the Greater London Authority.
