Yuri Antonio Diaz Fernandez

Yuri Antonio Diaz Fernandez is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the fields of chemistry and materials science. Currently serving as a Lecturer at Università di Pavia since November 2021, Yuri also holds the position of Senior Research Fellow (Hon) at the University of Liverpool, where contributions include the establishment of the National Biofilms Innovation Centre, fostering collaboration in research and innovation. Previous roles include Science Leader at LGC and Post Doctoral Researcher at Chalmers University of Technology and Università di Pavia, focusing on the development of nanostructured materials and applications in biomedical fields. Yuri holds a PhD in Chemistry from Università di Pavia and an MSc in Radiochemistry from the Higher Institute of Applied Science and Technology in Cuba.
