Aaron Johnson

Aaron Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to 2018. Aaron began their career as a Film Editor for documentary films. Aaron then worked as a Production Manager at PVI Virtual Media Services, followed by a role as a Marketing Manager at Digitas Health. In 2010, they joined Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System as a Director of Communications, where they supported strategic goals through innovative communication campaigns and pilot programs. Aaron later became the Director of Communications Innovation, overseeing the design and development of various initiatives. In 2013, they joined The University of Vermont Medical Center as the Director of Communications. Currently, Aaron is serving as the Associate Vice President of Patient and Consumer Engagement at Penn Medicine. In this role, they direct a portfolio that includes the website, social media channels, digital marketing, CRM programs, and contact center. Aaron Johnson completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Rowan University in 2000. Aaron then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Communication from American University, graduating in 2003.
