Himabindu Vidula

Himabindu (Hima) Vidula is a highly accomplished cardiologist currently serving as Trustee and Chair of the Board of Governors at the American College of Cardiology since March 2023. Hima is also the Medical Director of Mechanical Circulatory Support at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System. With extensive experience, Hima has served as a Governor and Governor-Elect for the American College of Cardiology's New York State Chapter since November 2019 and was previously the Medical Director of Heart Transplantation at the University of Rochester Medical Center from 2014 to October 2022. Hima's academic credentials include an MD from Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine and multiple fellowships and degrees from Northwestern, highlighting a strong background in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, clinical investigation, and internal medicine.
