Jennifer Petrella has extensive work experience in the field of quality control and research. Jennifer started their career at Penn State University as a Laboratory Intern, where they gained experience in conducting experiments and maintaining budget. Jennifer then worked as a Research Intern, focusing on assessing soil amendments and potential microbial biocontrol agents. Jennifer also served as an Assistant Disease Diagnostician, reviewing literature and conducting trials to evaluate the impact of soil borne pathogens on snap beans.
In 2017, Jennifer joined Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System. Jennifer started as a Quality Control Technologist, responsible for performing various assays and maintaining accreditation status. Later, they were promoted to the role of Senior Quality Control Technologist, where they led on-boarding training for new hires and analyzed cell phenotyping via flow cytometry. Currently, Jennifer is serving as the Quality Control Team Lead, overseeing the team and ensuring quality control standards.
Jennifer Petrella completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General at Pennsylvania State University from 2013 to 2017. Jennifer then pursued a Master's degree in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania from 2018 to 2021.
