Joanne Piscitello

Joanne Piscitello has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Joanne started their career in 1990 as the Manager of Community Relations and Development at Berks Visiting Nurse Association. After that, they worked as a Clinical Manager at Pinnacle Health Home Care from 1995 to 2010. Joanne then joined Saint Francis Healthcare, where they served as the Director of Home Care from 2010 to 2011 and later as the Executive Director of Continuing Care from 2011 to 2013.

In 2013, Joanne became a Program Manager at Remedy Partners Inc., where they played a key role as the onsite manager for the Bundled Payment for Care Improvement Program. Joanne worked closely with the University of Pennsylvania Health System, facilitating program development and execution until 2015.

Since 2015, Joanne has been associated with Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, holding various roles. Joanne started as the Director of Population Health Initiatives from 2015 to 2018, followed by the Director of Episode of Care Management from 2018 to 2021. Currently, they serve as the Director of Post-Acute Program Development and Integration, leading the Sub-Acute and Therapy Services (SATS) and related grant work. Joanne leverages value-based payment programs to develop efficient care delivery and post-acute networks, identifying and piloting new payment and care models in collaboration with stakeholders.

Additionally, Joanne briefly served as the Administrative Lead for PA State Long Term Care Grants at Penn Medicine from 2020 to 2021. Joanne'sextensive experience and leadership skills make their a valuable asset in the healthcare field.

Joanne Piscitello has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. Joanne also holds a Master's degree in Community Health Nursing with a concentration in Home Health Administration, also from the University of Pennsylvania.
