Nishaminy Kasbekar has a wealth of experience in the field of pharmacy. Nishaminy is currently serving as the Vice President and Chief Pharmacy Officer at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System. Nishaminy Kasbekar has a strong educational background in pharmacy. Nishaminy obtained their Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 1993. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the same institution, graduating in 1995. Nishaminy then completed an ASHP Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Pennsylvania from 1995 to 1996, followed by an ASHP Specialty Residency in Infectious Diseases at the same institution from 1996 to 1997. In terms of certifications, Nishaminy has been recognized as a Fellow of ASHP (FASHP) in 2017. Additionally, they have held leadership positions in ASHP, serving as a member of the Board of Directors in 2019 and becoming the ASHP President in June 2023.
