Basak Eren

Ph.d. Student In Architecture History & Theory at University of Pennsylvania

Basak Eren is currently a Ph.D. student in Architecture History & Theory at the University of Pennsylvania since August 2022. Previously, Basak served as a Research Assistant at MEF University from September 2016 to September 2022, and worked as an Architect at Özer/Ürger Mimarlık from December 2015 to October 2016. Basak gained early experience as an Intern at Emre Arolat Architects in August 2014, at TAK (TASARIM ATOLYESI KADIKOY - DESIGN ATELIER KADIKOY) in July 2013, and at Nurol Construction and Trading Co. Inc. in June 2013. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science - MS in Architectural Design from Istanbul Technical University, and a Bachelor of Science - BS in Architecture from Istanbul Technical University, complemented by a Minor in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning and an exchange program at Universita degli studi di Ferrara. Basak Eren graduated from Beyoğlu Anadolu Lisesi with a high school diploma in 2010.
