Heather Davis

Heather Davis is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of News and Research Publications at the University of Pennsylvania since September 2003. In this role, Heather leads the Penn Current, an award-winning monthly publication, overseeing meetings, generating story ideas, and managing graphic design priorities. Heather's previous positions at the university include Managing Editor and Staff Writer, where responsibilities involved handling publication schedules, administering the website, and contributing to print and online content. Prior to her tenure at the University of Pennsylvania, Heather worked as a Reporter for the Community Newspaper Company, covering education and arts beats. Heather holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in English and Film from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
