Jennifer McCallum has extensive experience in biomedical research and laboratory management. Currently serving as a Laboratory Manager at the University of Pennsylvania since March 2018, responsibilities include overseeing operations and compliance with regulatory standards. Jennifer previously worked at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where roles included Supervisor overseeing a team and managing budgets, as well as Senior Research Scientist focusing on disease gene identification related to Cornelia de Lange Syndrome and pediatric hearing loss. Earlier experience as a Biologist at the National Institutes of Health involved studying cellular receptor targeting. Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Bryn Mawr College.
