Kristin Sowden

Kristin Sowden, Ph.D., currently serves as the Associate Director of Career Advising at the University of Pennsylvania, where responsibilities include leading and scaling career development offerings for the Penn LPS Online student population. Previous roles include serving as a Curriculum Developer and Instructor at Duke University, where Kristin designed and taught engaging psychology courses for academically gifted students, and as the Coordinator of Students at James Madison University, managing the academic and career development of over 550 students. Kristin has also held various instructional and leadership positions at James Madison University, focusing on career counseling, curriculum design, and student success initiatives. Kristin earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Strategic Leadership: Organizational Science from James Madison University, alongside a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology.
