Liang Wu is an accomplished physicist currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Physics & Astronomy at the University of Pennsylvania, with a leave for an additional postdoctoral year at UC Berkeley. Prior to this role, Liang Wu worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Berkeley, where significant contributions included discovering a giant anisotropic second harmonic generation signal in Weyl semimetals. Liang Wu's academic journey also includes serving as a Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins University, exploring low-energy electrodynamics of topological insulators, and providing instruction as a Teaching Assistant.
