Luisa V.

Luisa V. is currently a Laboratory Support and Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, where responsibilities include preparing media and plant trays for experiments, maintaining laboratory equipment, and assisting researchers with data collection and analysis. Previous experience includes serving as a STEM Specialist at New York Edge, where curriculum development and student engagement were key tasks, and working as a Teaching and Research Junior Scientist with BioBus, where curriculum writing, teaching, and mentoring were important components. Luisa also gained experience as a Summer Intern with Futures and Options, a Summer Camp Staff member at the Police Athletic League, and a Summer Research Intern at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Luisa is pursuing a Bachelor's degree at the University of Pennsylvania, having previously earned a high school diploma from the High School of American Studies at Lehman College.
