Meishka Mitchell

Meishka Mitchell, AICP, PP is the Chief Executive Officer of Emerald Cities Collaborative and has been serving as a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania since September 2023. With extensive experience in community engagement and environmental stewardship, Mitchell has held leadership roles such as Chair of the Board of Directors at New Jersey Future since January 2021 and Board Member at the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions since January 2018. Previous positions include Vice President of Camden Community Partnership from September 2003 to May 2022, where contributions included serving as Vice President of Community Initiatives and Project Manager. Meishka Mitchell holds a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from William Paterson University of New Jersey.
