Sophie Masson

Sophie MASSON is a seasoned academic and administrator currently serving as Vice-Présidente au Conseil d'Administration at Université de Perpignan (UPVD) since September 2004, overseeing resource allocation, heritage, and sustainable development. With extensive experience in elected roles, including membership in the Comité National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and various academic councils, Sophie has contributed significantly to higher education governance. As a Professeure des universités, Sophie is also an expert for the FNRS and has held leadership positions including co-coordinatrice of a research axis at UMR 5281 ART-Dev and Chef of the Management, Logistics, and Transport department at IUT de Perpignan. Academically, Sophie holds a Doctorat in Transport Economics and an Habilitation à diriger des recherches in Spatial Planning and Urbanism, alongside multiple degrees from Université Lumière Lyon 2.
