John Woods

John Woods is the Chief Academic Officer and Provost at the University of Phoenix. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Academic Officer at Education Corporation of America, the Chief Academic Officer at Career Education Corporation, and the Associate Provost of International Operations at Harrison College. John began their career in higher education as the Vice President of Academic Affairs at Rasmussen College in 2002.

John is a respected leader in the field of higher education, with over 15 years of experience in academic administration. John has a proven track record of successful program development and implementation, and is known for their innovative approaches to education delivery. Under John's leadership, the University of Phoenix has seen significant growth in enrollment and graduation rates.

John holds a doctorate in education from the University of Phoenix and a master's degree in business administration from Rasmussen College.

John Woods earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Bowling Green State University. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Canadian Studies from Carleton University and their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Anthropology from Carleton University.
