Jackie Gillespie

Jackie Gillespie currently serves as the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Hospitality at the University of Pittsburgh since October 2021. Previously, Jackie held the position of Director of Sales at The Oaklander, a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel, from April 2018 to September 2021. Jackie's extensive experience in the hospitality industry includes roles such as General Manager at the Cambria hotel & suites Pittsburgh - Downtown with Meyer Jabara Hotels, and Director of Sales & Marketing at Marriott Pittsburgh Airport with Crescent Hotels & Resorts and Interstate Hotels & Resorts. Early in the career, Jackie worked as a Sales Account Manager and Sales Coordinator at the Pittsburgh Marriott North with Winegardner & Hammons and as Director of Banquet Sales at Tantallon Country Club. Jackie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management from Penn State University between 1997 and 2001.
