Keith Caldwell

Keith Caldwell is an experienced leader in community engagement and social work education, currently serving as the Executive Director of Place-Based Initiatives and Director of Impact and Continuity for Community Engagement Centers at the University of Pittsburgh. Since January 2008, Caldwell has played a vital role in promoting the university's community engagement efforts, overseeing initiatives and collaborating across campus to enhance scholarship and relationships with local communities. Previously, Caldwell held positions such as Associate Dean for Student Success and program director in the School of Social Work, focusing on student development and interdisciplinary initiatives. With a Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, alongside a Master's and Bachelor's in Social Work, Caldwell has extensive expertise in capacity building and nonprofit management from earlier roles in community outreach and human services.
