Rob Strauss

Rob Strauss, Ed.D., currently serves as the Director of Administration & Operations at the Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Pittsburgh, a position held since September 2017. This office focuses on inspiring and educating individuals to create societal impact and foster economic growth. Previously, Rob held several roles within Pitt Business, including Director of Business Administration and Director of Finance, managing operations, strategic planning, and financial initiatives. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Financial Analyst at Duquesne Light Company and Senior Analyst in Financial Reporting at UPMC, where contributions included financial analyses for the Board of Directors. Rob holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration and a Master's of Education in Higher Education Management from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Juniata College.
