Vinny Negi, PhD, is a Research Scientist in the Endocrinology and Metabolism division at the University of Pittsburgh since January 2016, where leadership in MOA and drug screening studies related to diabetes, MASH, and heart failure has resulted in multiple publications. Previously, as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Vascular Medicine Institute, Vinny led a multidisciplinary team to repurpose cancer drugs for Pulmonary Hypertension, achieving significant outcomes published in Science Advances. Prior experience includes a PhD research role at CSIR-IGIB, focusing on miRNAs as therapeutic targets in T cell differentiation.
