Yasser al Maghazachi

Yasser Al Maghazachi is a Senior Network Engineer at the University of Pittsburgh, with a tenure beginning in June 2008. Responsibilities include troubleshooting Cisco switches and managing firewall rules for Cisco ASA firewalls. Previously, Yasser served as a NOC Analyst, utilizing QIP for DNS and DHCP changes, and engaging in network troubleshooting with Ciscoworks and MySoft. Yasser also held the position of Instructional Technologist, focusing on systems analysis, design, programming, and providing support for instructional computing applications and technology for faculty. Prior experience includes serving as a System Engineer for the Corps of Engineers Gulf Region Division and TKC Communications from August 2004 to October 2007, where monitoring and troubleshooting network issues were primary duties. Yasser holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Al-Mansour University College, earned between 1993 and 1998.
