Amanda Fisher has been Chief Executive of Amey, a leading infrastructure and engineering services company since December 2019. Despite the challenges of Covid, she has successfully executed a turnaround plan creating a modern organization with a progressive people culture, whilst positioning the business for sale.
Since leaving the armed forces where she served as a Commissioned Officer, Amanda has a successful track record in delivering business transformations and creating value in large, complex organizations in very competitive environments. Amanda brings a wealth of cross-sector experience, having held several Board director-level roles in ISS, Allied Healthcare Group, Alfred McAlpine, and Balfour Beatty where she was the first woman to be appointed Managing Director of one of the strategic businesses; Living Places.
