Robyn Barrett

Robyn Barrett is a dedicated academic professional currently serving as a Teaching and Support Assistant at the University of Plymouth since September 2018, while also fulfilling the role of a Student Ambassador for Chemistry. In this capacity, Robyn participates in events such as Open and Applicant Days, assisting prospective students with practical knowledge of analytical instruments. Additionally, as a Student Outreach Ambassador, Robyn delivers engaging educational experiences related to spectroscopy at various educational institutions. Robyn also leads the Peer Assisted Learning Scheme (PALS), providing support to first-year and foundation chemistry students. Previously, professional experiences include roles as a Lifeguard at Haven and Leisure Assistant at Carden Park, as well as a Selling Assistant at John Lewis. Robyn's educational background comprises a PhD in Environmental Science, an MSc in Environmental Geochemistry, and a BSc Hons in Chemistry from the University of Plymouth.
