Rong Huang serves as the Interim Head of Plymouth Business School and holds multiple academic positions at the University of Plymouth since August 2005, including Associate Professor in tourism marketing and Deputy Head of the School. Huang manages the MSc in Tourism and Hospitality Management program and oversees international partnerships. Additionally, Huang contributes to various educational organizations, serving as an International Evaluator for the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education and the Malta National Commission for Further and Higher Education, as well as a Subject Reviewer for The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education. Previous roles include Guest Professor in Tourism at Tianjin University of Commerce and Academic Director at First Plus Education Technology Company Ltd. Rong Huang's educational background includes a PhD and an MA in Tourism Management from the University of Derby, along with a PG Cert in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from the University of Plymouth.
