Ishaq Njuki is a skilled Project Administrator currently supporting the Better Student Outcomes project at the University of Portsmouth Students' Union since January 2023. Responsibilities include providing administrative support, engaging with stakeholders, facilitating co-creation activities, and promoting the union. Prior experience includes a role as a Crew Trainer at McDonald's from December 2017 to January 2023, where responsibilities involved maintaining customer service standards, training new crew members, and managing food preparation and transactions. Ishaq holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Portsmouth (2019-2022) and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in International Relations and Politics from the same institution (September 2023 - September 2024), having completed A Levels at New City College (2016-2018).

Portsmouth Students’ Union has a vision of creating a positive impact with every Portsmouth student during their time at University. As a charity led by our values and guided by our students, we do this by providing wide-ranging services and learner support to the 20,000 students of the University of Portsmouth. Create change for a better University. Anyone can get involved in the Student Council and run in our Elections for one of many leadership roles. As well as gaining valuable experience through our representation opportunities, students can also volunteer for one of our many volunteering groups such as VIP or SU Heroes. It's a great way to meet new people whilst giving back to the community. Our extensive Activities programme has over 100 sports clubs and societies. We also run one-off trips and events through our Give it a Go programme.
