Brian J. Frederick

Brian J. Frederick currently serves as a Senior Lecturer in Criminal Justice and Policing at the University of Portsmouth since June 2020 and as an External Examiner at Birmingham City University since January 2020. Previously, Brian held the position of Senior Lecturer in Criminology at the University of Gloucestershire from September 2016 to June 2020. Brian contributed as a Subject Matter Expert for the true crime television series 'Meet, Marry, Murder' in 2020. Brian's academic credentials include multiple degrees in Cultural and Global Criminology, culminating in a PhD from the University of Kent. Additionally, Brian has obtained advanced certifications in qualitative and legal methods, international criminology, and holds a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Long Beach.
