Cathy Banks

Cathy Banks is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications and branding. Currently serving as the Senior Corporate Communications Manager at the University of Portsmouth since January 2019, Cathy leads two teams focused on internal communications and creative services for print and digital campaigns. Prior roles include Corporate Communications Manager at the same institution and Interim Brand Support Consultant, where Cathy was instrumental in executing a comprehensive rebranding initiative. Previous experience includes leadership positions at Direct Line Group, where Cathy was Head of Campaigns, Delivery & Measurement, and multiple roles at Lloyds Banking Group, including Group Internal Communications Manager. Cathy holds educational qualifications from the Open University and the University of Plymouth.
