Charlie Watts, SFHEA, has been a Principal Lecturer at the University of Portsmouth since October 2003, serving as Associate Head of Global Engagement & Educational Partnerships and as Academic Partnership Lead. Watts has also taken on leadership roles as Course Leader for the BSc (Hons) Television and Broadcasting program and as an Industry Liaison for the School of Creative Technologies, focusing on enhancing curriculum through industry connections. Prior to this, Watts worked as a Freelance Avid Editor at Avid Technology from 1997 to 2004. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Creative Professional Practice obtained from the University of Portsmouth in 2013 and a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Communication earned from the same institution in 1996.
