Chris Mills is an experienced academic in the field of biomechanics, currently serving as the Associate Head (Academic) and Senior Lecturer at the University of Portsmouth since July 2009. In this role, Chris oversees the development and quality of academic programs, ensuring adherence to quality assurance policies and leading strategic initiatives related to teaching, learning, and student support. Additionally, Chris is the Programme Leader for the BSc Hons Sport and Exercise Science and BSc Hons Exercise and Fitness Management courses. Previous positions include Lecturer at the University of Exeter, Loughborough University, and London South Bank University, as well as Sport Science Support for British Gymnastics. Chris holds a Ph.D. in computer simulation of gymnastics from Loughborough University and has completed both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree at Brunel University London.
