Glenn Harris

Glenn Harris is a seasoned media professional currently serving as Media Relations Lead at Lloyd's Register since September 2024. With extensive experience in media management, Glenn has held notable positions including Senior Media Manager (Research Themes) at the University of Portsmouth since November 2016 and Senior Media Relations Officer at the University of Southampton from September 2007 to November 2016. Glenn has a proven track record in developing proactive media campaigns, producing media workshops, and managing significant media relationships. Prior to these roles, Glenn worked as a Media and PR Officer at Southampton Solent University and as a Broadcast Assistant at BBC Radio Solent, demonstrating a commitment to effective communication and media outreach throughout a diverse career. Glenn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in PR, Marketing, and Advertising from Solent University and an HND in Media Technology with Business from Farnborough College of Technology.
