Pal Ahluwalia

Pal Ahluwalia currently serves as Vice Chancellor and President at The University of the South Pacific, a role commenced on November 1, 2018. Prior to this appointment, Ahluwalia held the position of Vice Chancellor and President Designate at the same university. Additionally, Ahluwalia has been a Pro Vice Chancellor at the University of Portsmouth since October 2014 and serves as the UNESCO Chair in Transnational Diasporas and Reconciliation Studies. Previous experience includes serving as Pro Vice-Chancellor at the University of South Australia from April 2008 to September 2014. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy from Flinders University, a Master of Arts, and a Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) from the University of Saskatchewan.
