Richard Wise

Richard Wise is an experienced academic and professional in the field of quantity surveying. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer and course leader for the BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying at the University of Portsmouth since May 2010, Richard also teaches various related courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Prior experience includes an Associate position at Davis Langdon focusing on retail and education projects, as well as lecturing roles at Southampton Institute of Higher Education and Salisbury College. Richard's career began as a Quantity Surveyor at Rees-Hough Ltd, with subsequent positions at Cheesman Associates and Amey Construction Limited. Richard holds a Master of Laws in Construction Law, Arbitration & Adjudication from Robert Gordon University, a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from the University of Portsmouth, and a Bachelor of Science in Building from Southampton Solent University.
