Gemma Bailey

Gemma Bailey is currently the Climate Ambassador South-East Hub Manager at the University of Reading and the Climate Ambassadors South East Hub Manager for the Climate Ambassador Scheme, starting in March 2024. Prior to these roles, Gemma served as the Biodiversity & Climate Change Engagement Officer at Maidstone Borough Council from July 2022 to March 2024, and as the Education and Sustainability Officer at The Big Cat Sanctuary from January 2018 to July 2022, where responsibilities included developing and evaluating educational programs. Earlier experience includes roles as an Educator and Guide, Field Fundraiser for RSPB, Temporary Student Education Support Officer at the University of Leeds, and various positions at The Big Cat Sanctuary. Gemma holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Development from the University of Surrey and a BSc in Zoology from the University of Leeds.
