Gina Simonelli

Gina Simonelli has a diverse range of work experience spanning several years. Gina began their career at URI College of the Environment and Life Sciences (CELS) in 2003, where they worked as the Coordinator of Student Recruitment and Experiential Learning until 2005. Gina then transitioned to URI Alumni Relations in 2005, initially working as an Event Specialist before being promoted to Assistant Director in 2008. In 2014, Gina joined URI Foundation & Alumni Engagement, first serving as the Director of Donor Relations and Engagement before being promoted to their current role as the Senior Director of Donor Relations and Engagement. Their work experience has focused on alumni engagement, donor relations, event management, and student recruitment.

Gina Simonelli obtained their Bachelor's degree in Human Science and Service from the University of Rhode Island, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Gina then pursued their Master's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the same university, completing their studies from 2001 to 2003.
