Kira Mudd M.ed.

Kira Mudd, M.Ed. has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 as an Assistant Recruiter at the University of Houston-Victoria. Kira then worked as a Therapist Recruiter at Windsor Rehab, Ltd. from 2008 to 2010. Following that, they held roles at Regency Integrated Health Services, LLC, where they served as a Corporate Human Resource Consultant from 2010 to 2013 and as a Corporate Recruiting Manager from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, Kira joined the University of Houston-Victoria as the Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving, responsible for coordinating numerous alumni engagement initiatives. Kira transitioned to the role of Healthcare Recruiter at Lifespan from 2021 to 2023 before taking on the position of Alumni + Family Relations Officer at Rhode Island School of Design. Currently, they work as the Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement at URI Foundation & Alumni Engagement.

Kira Mudd, M.Ed. began their education journey in 2002 at the Mays Business School of Texas A&M University. During their time there, from 2002 to 2006, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Marketing.

After a few years, Kira decided to further their education and enrolled at the University of Houston-Victoria in 2015. Kira obtained their Master of Education degree in Adult and Higher Education in 2021, marking the end of their academic journey thus far.

In addition to their formal education, Kira has also obtained a certification as a Fierce Conversations Facilitator in Leadership Development from Fierce, Inc. This certification was obtained in February 2013.
