Linnell Bickford

Linnell Bickford has a diverse background in development and leadership roles. Linnell is currently serving as the Director of Development for the URI Foundation & Alumni Engagement since 2019. Prior to that, they were the Director, Leadership Giving at Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth from 2016 to 2019. Linnell has also held positions such as Director of Development at Florida International University College of Engineering and Computing from 2013 to 2016, Director of Development at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami from 2010 to 2013, and Assistant Director of Advancement at Albright-Knox Art Gallery from 2008 to 2010. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director of Development at Northern Human Services from 2007 to 2008, Assistant Executive Director at Tate House Museum from 2006 to 2007, and Guild Director at Portland Ballet Company from 2002 to 2007. Prior to their work in the nonprofit sector, Linnell owned GreenTurtle Gift Baskets from 1993 to 2002 and served as a substitute teacher at Gulfstream Elementary from 1998 to 2001.
