Amy Howard currently serves as the Associate Provost for Strategic Initiatives and Community Engagement at the University of Richmond, a position held since 2009. In this role, Amy collaborates with the Provost to advance multi-school projects and enhance connections between Academic Affairs and community stakeholders, focusing on various initiatives including the Bonner Center for Civic Engagement, University Museums, and the Humanities Center. Prior to this, Amy held various leadership positions within the Bonner Center for Civic Engagement, including Executive Director and Assistant Vice President of Community Initiatives. Amy's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in History from Davidson College and a Ph.D. in American Studies from William & Mary.
