Joe Torrence

Joe Torrence serves as the Director of Community Engagement and External Relations at the University of Richmond, focusing on expanding partnerships to boost student enrollment. Previously, Joe held various leadership roles in community outreach and engagement, including Community Outreach Manager at the Children's Museum of Richmond and Director of Community Engagement at The Open Table. Joe's experience encompasses fundraising, relationship building in faith and human services sectors, and implementing community initiatives. Joe's educational background includes degrees from Wesley Theological Seminary and Eastern Mennonite Seminary, along with a current certificate program in Fundraising and Development from the University of Richmond.
