Walter Fitch

Walter Fitch is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in advancement information services and information systems management. Currently, as the Senior Director of Advancement Information Services at the University of Rochester Advancement since February 2010, Walter supervises a team and manages operations and services for the Advancement department. Previously, Walter served as the Director of Information Systems at Oregon State University Foundation, leading a team of analysts and overseeing the IS budget. Walter's career also includes roles as a Lead Programmer/Analyst, Consultant, and Programmer/Analyst, with a strong foundation in programming and database management since starting in the US Navy as a Machinist Mate. Walter holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems from Oregon State University.
