Mick Cooper

Mick Cooper is a Professor of Counselling Psychology at the University of Roehampton since February 2014, previously serving as a Professor of Counselling at the University of Strathclyde from January 2003 to December 2013. With a focus on humanistic, relational, and pluralistic models of practice, Mick delivers training in counselling and counselling psychology. Research work is primarily commissioned in the area of counselling and psychological wellbeing among young people. Mick's academic qualifications include a DPhil in Psychology from the University of Sussex, a Qualification in Counselling Psychology from the British Psychological Society, and advanced diplomas in Existential Psychotherapy.
